5.2 Data processing when accessing the website www.snordtmade.com and the associated websites www.sanoge.com and www.shop.sanoge.com

When accessing the website, information such as the IP address of the caller, the date and time of the access, the name and URL of the accessed file, the website from which the access originated (referrer URL), the browser used for the access, the operating system of the computer, and the name of the provider are automatically transmitted to the server of Snordtmade GmbH. This information is temporarily stored there in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 f GDPR. This storage is used to check the optimization of the connection setup, the optimization of the usability of our website, the check of system security, and the defense against dangers in the event of a hacker or cyber attack, as well as the determination of criminal acts.

5.3 Data processing when registering as a customer

The caller can register as a customer of our company. The customer personally creates a password-protected customer account using an input mask. The personal data involved is apparent from the input mask during the registration process. The IP address of the customer, as well as the date and time of registration, are also stored. The entered data is used exclusively for storing the customer’s personal data in his/her personal customer account and for processing orders placed by the customer. This information is stored in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 b GDPR.

5.4 User management of the customer account

As the owner of the customer account, the customer has the option to manage and change his/her data, as far as this is necessary for required changes (e.g., address, bank details).

5.5 Data processing in the context of an order process

Data processing within the scope of an order placed by the customer is carried out to process the order according to the respective input mask. The required data can be found in the corresponding input mask. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 b GDPR. To process the purchase contract, the following data are necessary for processing: The customer’s email address is used for the electronic processing of all communication for the order or purchase contract. This information is stored in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 c GDPR. To fulfill the obligations under the purchase contract, it is necessary for us to forward the customer’s personal data to a payment service provider or a bank. 5.6 Credit check

During an order process, we check the creditworthiness of the customer in cooperation with an external service provider. For this credit check, we transmit the necessary customer data (first name, last name, date of birth, address) to the following credit agencies: Schufa or PayPal The credit check is based on Art. 6 para. 1 f GDPR. The legitimate interest of Snordtmade GmbH is based on the fact that Snordtmade GmbH goes into advance with the procurement of materials and production for the respective payment method and must reduce the financial risk. The customer can object to the transmission of data to the credit agency at any time in writing (letter, fax) or in text form (by email). By objecting, Snordtmade GmbH can only process the contract in advance payment.

5.7 Other Data Processing

As part of the customer’s communication with Snordtmade GmbH, data is collected that the customer voluntarily provides through input forms, email, letter, fax, or telephone. The customer is informed about the data collection as part of the process (e.g., email address and password during login). In the course of using the Snordtmade GmbH website, usage data such as article searches or the IP address of the user’s computer is also collected. This usage data may potentially be used either for personalized offers for the individual or solely anonymized for internal purposes. A person can, with their consent according to Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR, sign up for a free newsletter via an input form on Snordtmade GmbH’s homepage. This registration is done through the double opt-in procedure. The person enters their email address into the input form and subsequently receives an email from Snordtmade GmbH to that email address. 6. COOKIE USAGE INFORMATION

Snordtmade GmbH uses cookies on its website. Cookies are small text files placed by websites on the user’s computer to store information about preferred settings. During personal measurement via smartphone using the corresponding Meepl app of Fision AG, anonymized front and side views may be screened for quality assurance purposes. By performing the personal measurement, the customer expressly consents to this. If data processing is carried out in connection with the processing of the customer’s order, the data protection provisions of Fision AG apply. 8. GOOGLE ANALYTICS

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. If IP anonymization is activated on this website, your IP address will be truncated within the area of Member States of the European Union or other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area before being transmitted to the United States. Snordtmade GmbH has integrated so-called plug-ins of the social network Facebook, 1601 South California Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA, or Facebook Ireland, on its homepage. The Facebook plug-ins are identified by the Facebook logo or the corresponding “Like” button on Snordtmade GmbH’s homepage. During visits to Snordtmade GmbH’s homepage, the respective plug-in establishes a direct connection between the visitor’s browser and the server at Facebook. Visitor or customer data is transmitted and stored by Facebook. As a result, Facebook receives information that the visitor or customer has accessed or is accessing Snordtmade GmbH’s homepage with their respective IP address. LinkedIn plug-ins and links are indicated by the LinkedIn logo on Snordtmade GmbH’s homepage. When visiting Snordtmade GmbH’s homepage, the plug-in and link establish a direct connection between the visitor’s browser and the server at LinkedIn. Visitor or customer data is transmitted and stored by LinkedIn when accessed. LinkedIn receives information that the visitor or customer has accessed or is accessing Snordtmade GmbH’s homepage with their respective IP address. 10. DATA DELETION

The data of customers processed and stored by us in accordance with data protection regulations will be deleted after the relevant authorization expires, especially after revocation of authorization or upon expiration of commercial and tax retention periods. Different rules apply only if the data subject has expressly consented to further use and storage of the data.

11. DATA SECURITY

From Snordtmade GmbH’s perspective, all necessary technical and organizational measures have been taken to protect the data. However, it is expressly pointed out that data security when using the Internet can be influenced by many factors and cannot always be guaranteed.
